First Inspection Visit by the Certifying Body (Suolo e Salute):

  • In April 2024, the certifying body Suolo e Salute conducted a visit to the Az. Agricola Oro dei Colli farm; the apiary was inspected and it was verified that there was no risk of environmental contamination. It was also confirmed that the numbered hives were constructed with PEFC-certified wood and that every element intended for nutrition (candy, sugar, etc.) or sanitation (due to legal obligations for the fight against the Varroa parasite) were organic products, purchased from suppliers who are also duly certified. The Certifying Body reserves the right to issue the certification upon the conclusion of a period (called the conversion period) during which the Company must complete the beekeeping laboratory.

Conversion period:

  • From April 2024 to June 2025, the Company's beekeeping laboratory is completed and furnished in compliance with the dictates of the local ASL (Local Health Authority) and the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) regulations.

Release of organic certification:

  • In July 2025, the Certifying Body officially granted Oro dei Colli Farm the Organic Certification for both production and labeling.
