.The days are still warm even though it is already late autumn (at least according to the calendar) and the viscous inula has recently finished its long and full flowering. All the families took advantage of this to increase their supplies for this winter which, combined with the heat, pushed the queens of some families to continue their oviposition; absolutely extraordinary event for this time of year.
Therefore families will come into the harvest season even stronger. We decide not to withdraw honey supplies to allow each family to face the winter with their natural nourishment. In January we will check whether they still have something to eat or whether it will be necessary, for the remaining winter period, to resort to artificial nourishment (organic candied fruit)
